Finally seeing Dr. Grubb!!

As many of you know i have spent the last several years battling POTS and searching for answers to get my life back. I recently got a PICC line and have been doing IV fluids (now every day) in an effort to cut down the number of times i pass out each day. I still pass out up to six times each days. Many of these episodes result in injuries, sometimes requiring sutures. I have been struggling with muscle weakness, increased fatigue, constant nausea, headaches, and bouts of hopelessness. Last February I reached out to Dr. Blair Grubb, one of the leading POTS specialist in the world, and was put on a wait list to become his patient. Well ... I got a call last week and I made it to the top of the list!! My appointment with Dr. Grubb is on January 26th and i am hopeful that he will be able to provide me with new treatment options and help me to beat the sickness that rules my life. While this is an extremely exciting trip it is also an expense. Mom, Isis, and I have to fly to Toledo, OH, rent a car, stay in a hotel, eat, and pay to see Dr. Grubb. I am once again reaching out and asking for help. Any contribution makes a difference and helps me get to a doctor who may change my life forever.
