Financial Assistance for Charles Jackson Jr
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Ken, and I am asking for monetary donations on behalf of Charles Jackson Jr. Anyone acquainted with Charles is asked to please donate whatever you can. And, to those that don't know Charles but want to help, your donations are appreciated as well.
Charles was employed as a bouncer at a restaurant and bar and, while performing his duties, was shot twice, in the back of his head. Upon the arrival of authorities, he was found lying in the parking lot clinging to life. Medical personnel assessed his condition as critical and Charles was rushed to the hospital, where doctors raced to save his life. By the grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, doctors were able to stop the bleeding in his head. However, the battle raged on. Charles was unable to breath on his own so doctors place him on a ventilator. Now, those of us that know Charles know he is no quitter. We also know he is a Child of God and he was not going to give up without a fight. Charles battled for his life over the next 24 hours. And, when the sun rose the next morning Charles was winning the fight. Doctors removed his ventilator and Charles was breathing on his own. He was also responding to questions from doctors and family. Charles' condition continued to improve and was upgraded to stable. However, we do not fully know the effects of this type of injury on his health. We also understand there's going to be a long road ahead of him and with appointments like therapy and counseling, work is a forgoing conclusion. Now, his family has been by his side and will remain so. But, you and I know how stressful it is when a family member is hospitalized. You don't want to leave their side so our lives are put on hold. Although, in the back of our minds we know the bills never miss a beat. This is also true for Charles and his family. Charles is a man of God, he's a devoted father, he's an awesome cousin and a great friend. However, he needs your help NOW! His family depends on his income for the necessities. Currently, family members are staying in local hotels and eating fast food to be by his side. We know how fast you can burn through money in situations like this. As we discussed, he has a long road to recovery and will not be able to work for an undetermined amount of time. Your donations will keep food on the table, pay rent and utilities, the basics. Most importantly, it will give his family freedom. The freedom to attend to Charles' recovery worry-free of the daily cost of living.
So, again, I humbly ask for your help. Your donation will be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Kenneth Boise
