Financial Assistance for John & Lisa Hall

Hi, my name is Lisa Kennedy Brown. I’m starting this Gofundme for my friend Lisa Hall and her husband John who has been suffering from cancer for the last 7 years. He had kidney cancer that started in October 2014, and has since developed into Renal Cell Carcinoma and has spread to 4 organs, he’s stage 4. John started chemotherapy at the end of the year after radiation in the fall. He had a very bad reaction to his first round and ended up in the hospital due to related internal bleeding on December 22nd (coincidentally his wife’s birthday) they got no answers and we’re sent home. John was disoriented and not himself he ended up falling and hitting his head and was back in the hospital over Christmas. Once again they were home, but Lisa knew her husband of 28 years was just not himself. Because of the holidays they were unable to get in to his oncologist. On January 2nd he was again admitted to the hospital for bleeding and was in for 9 days they finally got some answers, he will not be able to continue the chemotherapy at this point. Though, they are back home, Lisa is currently off on unpaid leave from her job at Freudenberg medical, she doesn’t qualify for short term disability and though John does receive disability, things are getting exceedingly tight for them without her income. I’d like to collect as much money for them as possible so that Lisa can stay home and care for her husband until she feels safe leaving him alone or until they are able to arrange care for him while she works. These two wonderful people have been through so much together, they’ve suffered through infertility, and the loss of their premature twins, the loss of both of their parents, and through it all they have been one another’s rock. Lisa calls John her bestfriend and one can see why. It breaks my heart to think of her being to be forced to leave his side, to worry about him, while she works simply to be able to pay the bills. I am hoping to get them assistance as quickly as possible as their financial situation is dire. Please forward this to as many people as possible so we can get these folks the help they need.
