Hi everyone I'm fund raising for Cassandra Combs and her family. Cassandra and her family have encountered an medical emergencyjust a few days ago. To hear that your son's heart stopped would rock any parents world. Her middle Son Zaidyn suffered a medical emergency on August 31, 2022 after his second football game of the season. Zaidyn is a fresh at Monterey High School in Lubbock, Texas. On August 31st Monterey's freshman team had just finished their football game at the campus as a matter of fact Zaidyn scored the final touchdown. The team huddled up in the endzone and Zaidyn clasped. Zaidyn then had a seizure and his heart stopped. The Medical Sports Team that was along the side line rushed to Zaidyn and started administering CPR. Zaidyn still didn't respond, so the SportMedical Team had to shock Zaidyn's heart with the defibrillator and still no response. The team started giving more CPR and still nothing, so Zaidyn's heart had to be shocked a second time. This time finally his heart start to beat, but it was very low and erratic. Zaidyn was rushed by ambulance to University Medical Center Hospital and he was admitted to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Several test was performed and it took several days inorder to get the results back. Needless to say the results weren't good. The doctors said Zaidyn needs further treatment and surgery on his heart, becauseit took two shocks to bring him back caused his heart to lose rhythm. The doctors also said his heart wasn't pumping blood right, so they said Zaidyn was gonna need to be MEDEVAC to Cooks Hospital in Ft.Worth ASAP in a few hours. Which only gave Cassandra about four hours to get home get packed and try to come up with the funding to travel to Ft.Worth from Lubbock, Texas. Cassandra has her own business as a hairstylist and to travel to Ft.Worth to be there with her 14yr old child will create a hardship for Cassandra and her two other sons this taking money out of the household, because she won't be available to do her job.

Right now she's stressing trying to figure out how she's gonna pay her bills at home and be there in Ft.Worth, while Zaidyn receives these life or death medical treatment.

This is a very loving family one of the few families that still sit down and have dinner every night together and supports each other in every way. As a matter of fact Zaidyn's old brother Cameron has stayed at the hospital by Zaidyn's side for the last four days.

Any help that you can extend to this family they will be ever so appreciative and it will ease some of the worries burdens during this troubling time.
