Financial Help for Harmony Bernard-Perley

As a little girl, Harmony Bernard-Perley spent many hours at our house as one of my daughter’s very best childhood buddies. Harmony holds a very special place in our family’s heart and in the hearts of many others here on the island too. In 2018 Harm moved off the island but that hasn’t changed the special warmth and love we feel for her.

Last spring, Harmony was accepted to Dalhousie University with plans of studying Law in the fall! She was working three part time jobs last summer keeping busy until university began. Unfortunately, she started having health issues that required lots of testing, so she had to give up her jobs and she was unable to attend school in September. She later found out that she has thyroid cancer and had to begin treatment. She is now nearing the end of her treatments; however, we would like to try to help recoup some of her lost wages and help ease her financial burden as much as possible.
