Financial help for Jake Caples after tragedy

On December 2, 2020, Jake Caples and his brother Ben lost their mother, Kelly Caples, in a sudden, tragic incident at the family home in Hampstead, MD.
Jake is a graduate of the Sheffield Institute’s Audio, Video and Tech programs. After finishing school, Jake excelled in the live sound field locally and eventually ended up working for Clair Global, one of the oldest and largest live event technology providers in the United States. With Clair Global, Jake toured the country supporting many recognizable acts such as Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, and Bob Seger, to name a few. In addition to his work in professional audio, Jake is well known in an active disc golf community and is an avid hiker who has spent months on the Appalachian Trail. Like many in the field, the COVID-19 pandemic has had a negative impact on Jake’s ability to do the work he loves.
This fund is being established by friends and colleagues to help him with expenses such as rent, food, and medical care. The entire amount donated will go directly to Jake in the hope that we can provide just a little comfort as he focuses on making final arrangements for his mother and navigates this emotionally challenging time. This is a difficult time for many families. Any amount is appreciated and, if you are unable to give at this time, please hold Jake in your thoughts through what will certainly be a painful holiday season.
