Financial Help for Monet

I have some positive things in the works but still not out of the financial hole. Anything donated is appreciated!!

I had to increase my goal since I am now another month into back rent with other bills pilling up. I just can’t seem to get caught up before more bills come. It’s been so stressful and depressing. I appreciate any help! Thank you all!!

My name is Monet and I am trying to fundraise to allow me to get back on track financially. I have been having difficulty staying ahead of bills after the last 6 months of slow income.

I was working in the TV industry and once that job was done, I moved to a new apartment and took on about an extra $1,000 a month. Those expenses included my car/insurance ( my old car ended up dying), a storage unit to store a lot of belongings since my current apartment is a lot smaller than my last, and I just have not been able to get ahead due to difficulty finding a job where I can make enough income to live.

Bills have been piling up.

I am extremely overwhelmed but have been trying to stay hopeful.

Last month my landlord almost filed an eviction, which I have never had on my record and this would be so damaging for me to find a place in the future.

I was able to pay enough for him not to file, due to help from friends and peers, but I am still behind for last month(July) and now this month is due(August).

I also have my power bill due, car payment, car insurance, gas bill, internet, and storage unit, most of these being behind for at least 2 months.

I just started a new job last week, which is an amazing opportunity and I am super excited for the position. However, it's going to be 2 more weeks until I get paid which means I will probably be threatened with eviction again before I get paid but also will be behind on 6 other bills.

I desperately need help catching up, and I sincerely appreciate anything you can donate. All the funds donated will be going straight to rent/bills.
