Financial help for the children of Nancy Busby

Nancy Marie Busby, a loving mother of three, passed away unexpectedly on Monday May 8th, at the young age of 49 due to a stroke. Her untimely passing comes 13 years after the loss of her husband, Erik Juha Rasanen, on February 7th, 2010. The suddenness of Nancy's passing has left her children, Tyler, Meghan, and Joey, devastated and struggling with both emotional and financial turmoil.  Nancy's beautiful soul radiated wherever she went. She was a true rockstar, a fighter, and an all-around amazing person. Her presence lit up any room she walked into, and her kindness, care, and determination were truly remarkable. Nancy played many roles in life; mother, friend, daughter, cousin, aunt, and more, but above all, she was an incredible mother. Her love for her children knew no bounds, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Nancy took pride in her children's accomplishments, going to every hockey game, award ceremony, or celebratory event she could. She loved spending quality time with them, from concerts, going to the arcade, or even sitting down to play cards or a board game at every chance she got. She especially enjoyed going for walks with them by the waterfront, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime.  Nancy dedicated her life to her children, persevering through many rough patches with a smile on her face. She was a remarkably strong woman who fought until the very end and deserved to live the rest of her life on her own terms. Nancy's passing has left a significant void in the lives of many, including her mother Irene, her father Don, her sister Kim, her brother Chris, her three children, and countless others who loved her dearly.  Nancy's sudden passing has left her children, Tyler, Meghan, and Joey, reeling and struggling to come to terms with their loss. The suddenness of her passing has left them unprepared, emotionally and financially. Tyler and Meghan had to take time off work to be with their mother before her passing, and they are still unable to attend work as they make arrangements for their mother's affairs. Meghan has decided to move back to their hometown to be with their younger brother Joey, and Tyler will be commuting back and forth from Ottawa, which will add to their financial burden with fuel expenses.  We humbly ask for your support during these difficult times for Nancy's children.
