Financial Help Needed For Our Dad During His Loss

Hi, my name is Linda, and I'm trying to help my father out financially. Our stepmother, my dad's wife of 37 years, recently passed away. There was no will, or pension, or life insurance. All of the financial bills are falling on my dad. He is 81 years old, and on a small fixed income, therefore, is unable to pay his house payment, or household bills. I'm worried that he will lose his home. Resources are extremely slow right now. He is grieving, and is sick from financial worry. My sister and I are trying to help with what we can, but unfortunately, we cannot do much. I'm trying to get resources to help him out, but it is a waiting game, and he needs help now. I appreciate each one of you, and we completely understand how difficult it is in today's economy. If you cannot give, could you please share?
