Financial Support For A Tragic House Fire

Hi my name is Magen S. On Sunday October 29 about 8:45am a fire started in the basement of our family home. 911 was called but my brother and his dog were unable to make it out of the basement. He passed away at the age of 35. Our home is destroyed. We only had the clothes on our backs. Firefighters weren’t confident that anything was salvageable. We lost everything. Clothes, shoes, food, electronics, furniture and most importantly the comfort and security we had is gone. The Red Cross, God bless them got us into a hotel for a couple of nights. I don’t know what comes next for my elderly father, my teenage son and myself. This has been an emotional roller coaster for my family. A son, brother and uncle were lost along with a family home and memories. I have never asked anyone for financial help before. I never thought I’d ever been in a situation where I had to. If you can spare anything my family and I would greatly appreciate it. It’s a very scary feeling being a parent and not know where your child will lay their head that night.
