Financial and Prayer Support for Ahmed Ali
Hello! You can learn everything about this fundraiser either from the video or from the written messages below. To access the written messages, please click the "Read More" option!
This fundraiser was made to support Ahmed Ali through prayer and through financial means. Ahmed Ali is a 21 year old who studied liberal arts at Suffolk Community College. He's a big, soft spoken guy who has a gentle heart, a pure love for others, and an unbreakable faith in God. He is currently in the midst of a new challenge that came from how his parents kicked him out of their house after he shared with them that he was a Christian. Since then, he has not received any contact nor financial support from his family. Currently, Ahmed is renting a room by himself and working three jobs in order to sustain himself financially. For more info on Ahmed's testimony and current situation, please scroll down to read Ahmed's story in his own words!

Financially
Currently, Ahmed is working three jobs so that he can pay around $2000 in monthly expenses for things such as house rent, food, gas, and college debt, and savings for the future. As Christians, we have a call to not let the weary and needy go by unattended, unloved, and unhelped, so that we might reflect Jesus' love through our actions (James 2:14-17). Please consider helping a brother in need by donating and also by sharing his story with friends and family. Perhaps with our help, Ahmed's dream to study business in a school in upstate New York may come sooner than he expects.
Ahmed's Testimony:
"Hi, my name is Ahmed I am 21 years old, I have been a Christian since May 2018.
My testimony began when I was hiking by myself one day in Manorville. I went on the other side of the hiking trail and I got lost, so I decided to walk on one of the side shoulders on Route 111 to get to my car. When I was walking on Route 111, one of my high school friends I didn’t see from 2015 was driving by and he saw me walking. He pulled over to give me a ride to my car and we exchanged phone numbers and after that day we kept in touch. One week later, he invited me to the young adults group that he goes to at his church. Then I went one night and after the service ended, the pastor and I spoke and as we were talking I got saved that night.
I was born into a Muslim family and I was a Muslim before I became a Christian. Then, I had been living at my parents house at the time and they didn’t know I was Christian, so I was living a double life because they’re Muslim. I was thinking that they won’t take the news well and would kick me out of the house. Then in August 2020, I told them that I was a Christian and they didn’t take it well and then they kicked me out. Since then, I found a room that I can live in, but it took me a week to find after they had kicked me out. During that week, I was sleeping in my car some nights and at a friend's house. I am currently working 3 jobs in order to support myself and my plan is to better my future by continuing my studies in college. I'm planning to go to college upstate to study business and I have a couple of colleges in mind."
I hope that Ahmed's steadfast faith and love for God in the midst of trial and persecution serves as a source of inspiration as well as a call to humility as we reflect the religious privileges that we have here in America.
