Help me & my family win this cancer battle

On June 5, 2019, my wife Nicole was diagnosed with metastatic Thyroid Cancer. This past Monday, July 29, she underwent an 7.5 hour surgery to remove her complete thyroid as well as multiple cancerous lymph nodes and cancer metastasis from her central and left neck. Surgery was way longer and more complex than expected. During surgery she also lost 2 of the bodies 4 parathyroid glands that are in control of calcium in the blood. She has been having issues keeping her calcium in normal range since surgery was completed. Nicole remained in the hospital for 2 days after surgery for pain control and to closely monitor calcium levels in the blood. She is slowly recovering, but now has also picked up a sinus infection post surgery, thus making recovery even slower then expected. She is having issues swollowing medication as well as food. Nicole is also having some weakness and pain in her right shoulder. Doctors say it’s likely from being on the surgery table as long as she was. It’s possible that therapy may be needed for her to regain full strength and mobility in that arm (her dominant arm).
It is unknown how long it will take her to recover and be able to go back to work full time. She only has 1 week paid off and it is garenteed she will need way more time than that. At this point, she still needs lots of help with just activities of daily living. It’s possible she will need physical therapy for her neck and shoulder. Nicole will also need at least 2-4 weeks off in a few months for her to receive radioactive iodine treatment to kill any remaining cancer in her body. We are all hoping this is all we have to do to finish raiding her body of this cancer that has made her so sick this past couple years. Yes, it took 3 years to find out what has been making her so exhausted and in chronic pain. This whole diagnosis and treatment has been so hard on her and the rest of our family. We are asking for help so she doesn’t have to stress out so much about the financial issues that arise because she is off work. I want to take as much stress of her as possible so she can just focus on healing her body and beating this cancer. This help will also go towards medical bills that are already starting to pile up.
Nicole is a wonderful mother of two teenage girls. She has spent her life dedicating it to helping others. She has worked in public survice as a AEMT and also a teacher. She always loves to help others as much as she can. Now, I just want to help her like she has done for everyone else in her life.
