Financial support for Mr. Danny

UPDATE: Yesterday, 5/26, Doctors determined that Danny had a blood clot in his neck that broke off and went to his brain. As of today (5/27), Danny is still unconscious but he has responded by opening his eyes when his name is called. Doctors say it may take a few days for Danny to wake up. They may consider sending him to a rehab in a few days, depending on how he progresses. Please continue to pray for a full healing.  

Mr Danny is well known in the West Stanly area, especially to our children. For many, he is the first face they see in the mornings and the last face they see when they arrive home. Mr. Danny has been a school bus driver for Stanly County Schools for many years. Unfortunately, today, May 25th, 2023, Mr Danny wasn’t feeling well. After his morning bus route, on his way home, Mr Danny had what the doctors think was a stroke. This caused him to wreck and total his only means of transportation. Mr Danny is currently in the hospital now suffering from a Grand Mal seizure and he is unresponsive at this time. Thankfully, he is breathing on his own. Doctors have already said that Mr Danny will not be able to drive for at least 6 months. If you know Danny, you will know that driving a bus and working with his students is his passion! He has dedicated many years to our community and he currently needs our support. We would like to raise money to help with any medical expenses as well as help cover any financial burdens while Danny recovers. Most importantly, Mr Danny needs all of the prayers that he can get!
