Financially Decimated

It’s come to this.

This year has been one of the worst of my life. I typically work in film & television but one individual has weaponized an entire union local to make sure myself and others do not receive work. We’re all using the system in place to fight this but it takes time. Investigations are underway but in the meantime people are getting financially decimated, myself included.

I spent time in the ICU due to high blood pressure. “You suffer from high blood pressure as a result of severe anxiety.” Well, not working will do that.

Car’s transmission went out for the second time in a year to the tune of $5000.00. The warranty had expired.

Then I met a neighbor I’d lived above for over three years without speaking a word to. She was a lonely old lady who seemed nice. She offered to loan me money for a car. Then, three weeks after I got the car and was able to make some money from ride sharing she took the car back and went absolutely insane on me. She’s since been evicted but I’ve had to get a VPO which was granted due to threats she made against me. I’ve been living out of a suitcase, staying with friends for the past month. I have no car, no job and haven’t been home due to concern for my well being.

Things have never been this bad, so here we are.

I know it’s the holidays. I know things are difficult. I know money is awful and once the situation with the employment, or lack thereof, is handled, I’ll be alright, but that could take a year or more.

So, if you can throw a few bucks my way, that’d be appreciated more than you can imagine. If not, that’s okay. I really, really dislike this entire and unprovoked situation I find myself in, but, well, yeah.
