Battling Triple Negative Breast Cancer

Hi my name is Octavia and I’m fundraising. Last year I decided to have a breast reduction and lift…this was the best and worst thing that happened to me.

During the course of my healing one of my breast just wouldn’t heal…my dressing remained heavily stained on one breast. I went back to the surgery center to complain they changed the dressing and sent me home. A few weeks later the breast still drained of fluid I went back to the surgery center this time they glued it shut…seemed perfect because my dressings were finally dry.

Unbeknownst to me, instead of draining out all of the fluid was building up inside my breast. That build up was getting hard and causing pain so this time I went to the emergency room they immediately did surgery to drain the fluid but came back with devastating news, I had breast cancer. Not only did I have breast cancer I had stage 3 triple-negative breast cancer a quick growing aggressive cancer.

Since June 17th it’s been a rush for blood work, testing, scans, shots, diet, home nurse, port, chemo on repeat. I’m asking for your generosity and your grace. I asked that you help me ease the financial burdens that’s affiliated with the cost of care. I have health insurance but the limits do not account for the aggressiveness of my cancer and the quality of care I need. As of July 6 I was diagnosed cancer free but life after cancer is still a challenge im not physically able to do much because of all the toxicans in my body but bills are still coming
