Conch Republic Admiral and First Sealord, Finbar Gittleman has had serious health setbacks and is now recovering in Miami. Finbar has been discharged from the hospital and is staying with his constant caregiver Julie in a hotel to be close to outpatient care. They are faced with massive expenses and his recovery will take some time.

Finbar has been a constant force in our community for decades leading numerous relief missions to our neighbors faced with natural disasters. Countless mariners owe their livelihood to Finbar’s tutelage. The Admiral’s leadership in the Conch Republic Navy has benefited many

local causes and Conch Republic celebrations.

Now is the time for all good Conch Republicans to help someone who has helped so many. Your donation to Finbar will take the financial pressure off so he can focus on his recovery.
