12 years ago David caught a sickness in Arizona while working construction. He moved from Utah to Arizona for work. One day he got seriously sick, we couldn’t figure out if it was the flu. Found out it was more then the flu , it was called Valley Fever. A fungus that you catch in the dust of Arizona and it could have taken his life. July 11, 2006 David went into surgery with Dr Albuquerque , they needed to take the pressure out of his head and placed a shunt from his head to his stomach. David assummed that all his worries were gone. Life went back to normal . We moved back to Utah in June 2010. October of 2014 David was admitted into the ICU in University of Utah . The Vally Fever feeling was coming back. All his symptoms from Arizona were falling back on him. He was told by the doctors that he will need to replace the shunt inside him. The revise was done in September 2014 by Dr Schmidt . December 2015 his left leg went numb.
April 4, 2016 the UofU Neurosurgeon decided to do a Biopsy surgery because in their profession it would help find out if this is Cancerous. The surgery made David weak and losing feelings in his legs. They found that fluids were going down his spinal cord and thought radiation would help maybe cure it.

David is struggling and is on disability , Medicare , a father of Five .
