Fund for Nicholas Bell’s casket flight to Buffalo
Donation protected
My son, Nicholas Bell, died on Saturday, July 27, 2019, in a tragic car crash right outside Dicks Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, CO while we were trying to find parking for a family outing to watch a Lacrosse game. He was 29. His 2 kids were in the car and sustained serious injuries and are still at the hospital. His girlfriend also visiting from Buffalo, Elyse, was also in the car.
The twins injuries are serious, Jamie has a broken left leg femur, two breaks in the left ankle and lacerations to left elbow. Christian has abdominal injuries and L3 vertebrae fracture.
I was in the car ahead of his with Jacob and Zachary and was the first at the scene of the crash. Jacob, 12, and Zachary, 9 years old, were Nick half-brothers and are uncles of the twins. Nicholas, his girlfriend and his 2 kids were visiting from Buffalo.
Nick was a wonderful son. He cared for everyone. He was a Afghanistan veteran who served in the marines for 6 years, got his degree from Buffalo State college in Computer Information Systems. Did an internship at Healthgrades in Colorado, worked for Charter in Colorado and moved back to Buffalo after securing a job at Delaware North to be with his kids.
This is to pay for getting Nicholas Bell remains to Buffalo for the funeral there next week.
