Find Ingrid Lane: Helicopter search Jemez Mts, NM

Hello, my name is Kelsey Lane and my family and I are trying to find my twin sister, Ingrid Lane. Ingrid went for a hike in the Jemez Mountains on Sunday, October 15 and has been missing ever since. We found her car October 18 on Forest Road 144 in a rugged, remote area. The local authorities and incredible Search and Rescue teams have tried to find her by many means - dog teams, drones, foot search, and four-wheelers, but to no avail. The authorities are focusing on getting fliers with her face out, hoping someone will have seen her and come forward with more information. The area is high elevation, forested, remote and beyond cell phone range, but popular with hunters and outdoor recreationists. A local sheriff told me, "This is an easy area to get lost in."

My mother and I live in Oregon, and we have been helping the search from afar. We're going to go to New Mexico to help in-person. Her husband, Louis, in Albuquerque does not know the Jemez Mountains well. We will put up fliers and we've reached out to some private companies that may be able to help - drone services and helicopters. We're working with a local agency to book some helicopter time for next week. We'd like to book more. If you would like to help us get more flight time for Ingrid, please donate to this page.
