I am Rola Shukri Abdel Qader, a Palestinian. I live in Gaza City, specifically in the Al-Nasr neighborhood. I am 24 years old. I am a graduate of English translation from Al-Azhar University in Gaza. I have three brother or three sisters. I lived in a house filled with love and warmth, and enjoyed a life full of hope. And success before the disaster/war in Gaza. I began to achieve great success in my personal life, first with my recent graduation from university. Before that, I worked hard to build my professional career alongside my studies, as I worked as an English language teacher in my private center. I had many dreams and aspirations to build a promising future. But with the outbreak of the recent war in Gaza, my life changed completely.We have been living in a state of war for nearly six months, as we lost everything, our businesses and our homes, as a result of the bombing. We left and no longer had a house or shelter. We then left a place from north to south, under the sounds of severe and terrifying bombing. We left without anything only the clothes we were wearing from... Then we were evacuated several times to areas of mass displacement under danger, and every moment we live I could lose one of my family members as a result of indiscriminate bombing, and we are now in the city of Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip, displaced and homeless. We live in a very small tent and there are no minimum necessities of life, such as food and drink, and we survive. Health conditions, but the contamination of water and food. My brothers suffer from infectious diseases as a result of pollution, undrinkable water, and contaminated food. Gaza has become without health or educational centers, and there are no health centers to receive treatment, as all health, educational, social, and cultural facilities in the Gaza Strip have been destroyed. We are living in a situation. It is very disastrous, as we suffer from the cold winter and heavy rains, and we do not have clothes to warm our bodies, and we do not have money to buy what we need for life’s requirements and many other things, as the prices of products here have become very expensive.I do not have a source of income, but I lost my job. Also, my brothers are university students and do not have any work or source of income. Also, my father was injured as a result of the war and he is in dire need of traveling to receive treatment abroad and to get out to safety. He needs an amount of approximately (7000) thousand US dollars for coordination. To go out to Egypt, he also needs an escort from my brothers to go out with him, and he also needs an amount of (7,000) US dollars. They also need medical expenses, housing, and winter clothes, approximately (5,000) thousand US dollars. This bad situation that I am in now, where I am left with nothing and lost everything I own, has put me on the line to save the life of my family and the future that I started and strived hard to achieve. I wanted to rebuild again with your support and solidarity. I launched this campaign to restore hope for myself and my family, to cover the costs of traveling outside Gaza because it is no longer a safe place and to rebuild my life and the life of my family in a safe place with your support,I will be able to return to stability and complete my life again and complete the master’s degree that I had planned and also try to get a home and a normal life again. My family and I need an amount to buy a tent, clothes and other needs, and it is estimated at approximately (6000) thousand US dollars, and we need an amount of (15). One thousand US dollars to repair our war-damaged house that is uninhabitable. I also need an amount of (10,000) US dollars to rebuild my private center and build my future and my only source of livelihood. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a big difference in the safety of my family. The funds raised will be used transparently and efficiently to ensure every dollar is spent on ensuring their safety.
