FINE KULA CANCER BATTLE
Donation protected
Fine Kula began the summer as one of rugby league’s most promising props. The 21 year old was training with the Cronulla Sharks top squad with a view to earning a top-30 contract and fulfilling his ambition of playing in the NRL.
However, Fine’s world came crashing down when he learned that headaches he had been experiencing since Christmas were the result of brain cancer. On January 30, 2019, Fine was diagnosed with a grade-four medulloblastoma. Given this type of cancer is rarely found in adults, the survival rates are largely unknown.
The news has rocked the Kula family, who moved to Australia from New Zealand to support Fine’s NRL dream. Fine has been forced to retire from the sport before he was able to finalise a playing contract and the development has put a huge emotional and financial strain on the family.
FINE KULA WAS CHASING A DREAM & NOW HE'S FIGHTING FOR HIS LIFE!
