Finish and Release My Next Album "I'm An Artist"

Phil here with an update.

My last full album releases - "Canadiana" and "The Rebel Kind Anthology" in the summer of 2020 were badly affected by lock down. We got some really great reviews and I managed to get a lot of gigs arranged, all of which were cancelled.

One thing that never stopped was the support I received from family, friends, and fans like you that have kept me going through thick and thin.

Another thing that never stopped was my writing. With the help of Malcolm Doherty who played all the instruments (except guitar - that was me!) and utilising our "laptop studios" we have produced an album's worth of songs to be titled "I'm An Artist". I am very proud of it - I feel like I am writing at the height of my powers and I really want to get it out there for you to hear and enjoy. Music is a collaborative experience and as a transmitter I need you- the receivers!

Problem is although everyone who has played or sung on the tracks has done so for free, I just don't have the funds to finish, manufacture and release it.

This is where you come in…

I’m sure you know that artists at all levels and stages are doing fundraising and asking for support from their fans. Well now I’m calling on you to help me get this album out into the world.

I have a fabulous collection of rare memorabilia spanning my entire career - photos, magazines and posters and I want to offer these to you, my patrons, in return for funding the album production going forward. Here’s the 3 tier plan…

1. You can Pre-Pay £12.00 and that guarantees you a signed copy of the CD of the new album which should be available by the end September 2024.

2. £25.00 will get you a signed CD and your choice of a signed photo. I have a large collection of mostly A4 original photographer's and promo prints available, including the Winkies, Philip Rambow solo and live band shots.

3. £50.00 gets you all of the above plus Honored Patron status. Your name will be namechecked on the album sleeve art and you’ll receive an honorary certificate.

1. £300 - A home concert plus all of the above. I will come to your sitting room, garden or gazebo and perform an unplugged set for your friends and family. I’ll wear my big hat!

I will be releasing 3 tracks from the album starting at the end of July for streaming only, so you can get a feel for what it's going to be like.

My old friend Dave Barrett has done additional production and mixed these and they sound amazing. I can’t wait for you to hear them!
