Finley Mae

Our dear friend/coworker Megan has recently been talking about how something just didn’t seem right with her 2 year old daughter Finley. She kept saying that Fin wasn’t feeling good, she wasn’t acting like herself, and ultimately that something was off. Sadly, Megan’s mama instincts were correct. After weeks of not getting answers or help from doctors appointments, Finley had a seizure. She was rushed to the ER and finally the doctors began to take what Shane & Megan were saying more seriously. Over the next couple days they began to run tests and did an MRI to start looking for answers.

Things took a devastating turn for the worst after the MRI. Shane & Megan were told that their sweet baby girl Finley had a tumor the size of a lemon in her brain and that it is inoperable. What does this mean? There is no “cure” and there is no surgery to make this go away. Finley has a tumor inside her brain that unfortunately will take her life. They were told she has a life expectancy of about 2 years. This news is heartbreaking and something no family should ever have to endure.

We would like to raise this money to help ease the financial stress for their family through this impossible situation. Money raised will go towards medical expenses, household bills, & a lifetime of loving and adventure for sweet Finnie Mae. Megan has left her job in order to care for her baby and to enjoy however long God blesses them with. She will be home making memories and loving on her child that will be taken a lifetime too soon.
