Finley's Tree Planting Memorial

Please help us raise $6,000 to plant trees in honour of our son, Finley River Townsend. Finley tragically passed away almost a year ago on 26 May 2020.

We are partnering with Bush Heritage Australia and helping to rehabilitate Scottsdale Reserve, which was burnt in the Black Summer fires. We will plant 300 young casuarina trees to rehabilitate the ecosystem on Scottsdale Reserve. Casuarina trees are the natural habitat for glossy black cockatoos and we hope to encourage greater numbers back into this area. 

By working together with Bush Heritage Australia we hope to restore critical habitat and plant forests for future generations. Planting a forest is the greatest symbol of hope and way for us to commemorate the spirit of our son, who lights our hearts always.
