Finn Needs Your Support for Recovery
Donation protected
On Thanksgiving this year (2024) Finn slipped while trying to jump into bed and took a bad fall. He immediately lost control of his back legs. Shosh and I were out of town which made this all the more scary as it unfolded but our dear friends and amazing dog-sitters jumped into action. The first vet they visited told them Finn may never walk again but his best chance was to get him to a Neurologist. Carrying him to the car, they got Finn to a larger vet hospital where the next day the doctors performed an MRI and found he had a herniated disc in his back and a badly bruised disc in his tail.
Surgery was successful! And his spine is "looking good." But there's a long road to recovery ahead and lots of expenses to pay for -- the surgery, meds, upcoming physical therapy.
Finn is the heart of our little family. He has many doggie and human friends and we want to get him back on his feet and back in his community. Anything you can contribute would help. Thank you
