Finnegan's Top Surgery and Recovery

Hey there! My name is Finnegan, or Finn for short, and I am a 22 year old FtM! I'm starting this page to help finance for my top surgery.
For backstory, I have always felt extremely dysphoric, and insecure due to my chest (amongst other things of course). I am constantly aware that the breasts are there, and it even prevents me from doing the simplest things. Getting out of bed is a mental fight because I think of ways to hide my chest before leaving, doing household chores is a struggle because the chest dysphoria makes me extremely demotivated. 90% of my dysphoria is just from my chest alone. I'd love to go out on dates with my boyfriend more often without worrying if my chest is obvious, wear the clothes I'm afraid of wearing, hang out with friends and family way more, go to the pool or the beach and have a blast! I'd love to just be out in the moment; I want to be myself, love my own body instead of despising it. I've harmed myself on top of my chest in the past, and I think I would've taken my life soon if not starting my transition and having the support from my loved ones throughout the whole way. I can't do anything I'd really love to do until I get this surgery. I have little to no support from family (if there are other family that are supportive I wouldn't know), aside from 2 of my cousins and an Aunt. But, I have the absolute best friends I could ask for, and one of my cousins may be able to take me to and from surgery! This is pending, since I don't have an idea for a surgery date yet, but I will be confirming afterwards.
Top surgery will cost me $10,500. I will be saving up/paying what I can as time goes on, and I am only asking roughly for half of the total as there is no set date for the surgery yet but I would appreciate any help I can get to finance everything. I didn't want to have a 100% set date if I'm not financially ready for it.
As for the surgery, I can possibly take 2 weeks or a month paid time off work afterwards, but I will need help financially if my doctor and/or Sedgwick (a business that helps employees and other people to take time off and to return to business/work if you need 3 days or more off work) tells me to take the full 2-ish months off to recover in order to return to work.
In the doctor's estimate, I should be fine to work after 4 weeks or so but only for light work. Hence why they may tell me to take the full 2-ish months off instead. Sedgwick will possibly only pay me 50% of my paychecks while I am unable to work, however it won't help me make my rent, bills, and groceries.
Any excess money received (before a surgery date is set) will be used towards my therapy, which is required for the surgery. I will then receive a PhD level referral paper to let me have the go-to for surgery! The other money will be going to help me get the things I need right before surgery (items for recovery, simple foods, etc).
I feel weird asking for help, but I know it's okay to ask for help when you need it. I will update as time goes!!
Thank you so much for viewing and taking time. I love the community that's here, and I appreciate any time to help!
