Finney family fire

Wednesday, July 21st around 945PM , my dads home and my childhood home, caught fire. We fortunately had very minimal injuries and everyone was able to safely exit the home but several people are now displaced, awaiting insurance and trying to figure out what the future holds. My dad has a very high sense of pride and rarely asks for help because he’s usually the one doing the helping. My ask is if you can, please help support our family in this time of need anyway you can.

Right now my dad and his renters need; money for food, clothes and etc. anything you can donate will be greatly appreciated.

If you have reached out to us or my father, our apologies as it is taking a while to get back to everyone but I promise we appreciate all your thoughts and prayers.

Update 7/23/21:

After speaking with the insurance adjuster today— my dad will be out of pocket more than we anticipated originally. Any amount donated could greatly help. Again, thank you to everyone that’s reached out so far. ❤️

Update 8/4/21:

After speaking with the insurance adjuster so far they’re estimating an out of pocket of $7000. For my dad, this is a pretty substantial out of pocket. The minimum amount of time for repairs to make the home live-able again is 5 months. My father has Parkinson’s which has made him wheel chair bound the past few years so he has minimal income coming in. Any amount donated would greatly help and relieve some of the burden off my dad. Again, thank you so much for the kind words and help so far.
