Fins Up for Shelly Luttrell

For those who don’t know me, my name is Janet Luttrell and I am the favorite daughter-in-law for Ron and Shelly Luttrell (it's true).

As many of you might know, the Luttrell Family was hit hard with some devastating news last week in regards to Shelly's health and overall wellbeing. Shelly was found unexpectedly to have an advanced stage of cancer that is believed to be Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer. This disease has caused much damage, spread to various organs and has left the Luttrell Family with little options left.

Less than 24 hours after being discharged from the hospital, Shelly was accepted into hospice care. No one could have seen this coming and the past week has been consumed with much chaos, emotion and trauma for Shelly and her family.

Shelly (age 57) is a Shawnee High School graduate who married her high school sweetie, Ron (age 59) in 1986. They remained in Shawnee, OH for most of their lives where they raised their two children, Nile (age 35) and Mallory (age 32). In 2017, they welcomed their first grandchild, Hunter (age 6) and are now the proud grandparents to 2 additional grandsons, Harrison (age 4) and Callaway (age 2).

In 2023, Ron and Shelly moved to Florida (SoFlo) and spent much of their time enjoying the sunshine, cheering on their beloved Miami Dolphins, Florida Panthers and cruising in their Jeep.

Many family members and friends have reached out asking what can be done to help this amazing family. With the permission of Ron, his son (Nile - favorite son) and daughter (Mallory - known favorite daughter), I have decided to start this Go Fund Me page to help alleviate any of the burden that may come with Shelly's medical bills, future funeral expenses/plans and general financial wellbeing to allow this family to be able to spend as much time as possible with their amazing Bride and Mom.
