Romayne Mayne - FIO ITALIA Summer Opera Program

Hello, my name is Romayne Mayne. I am a Music - Vocal Performance Major at Southeastern Louisiana University. I recently auditioned and got accepted into the FIO ITALIA Summer Opera Program. I was given the role of title role of Gianni Schicchi in Gianni Schicchi where I will perform for two nights. Along with this I will perform in opera scenes and concerts in Italy.

A little bit about the program: It was started in 2012 in Brazil and eventually partnered with CENTRO STUDI ITALIANI to get where they are located in Urbania, Italy.

This program is from June 22nd to July 28th.

When in Italy I will get eight 45 minute voice lessons, eight 30-minute song coaching, daily Italian class, Masterclasses, and my performances in the opera and in the scenes. This is an amazing opportunity that I would love to participate in. I would greatly appreciate any financial donations that can go towards my dream of being apart of this program! Cost of the program:

Non-refundable deposit

$ 500 (US Dollars) due with the signed Acceptance Letter. Due date will be indicated in your letter, typically within two weeks of receipt.

Housing Deposit (Includes Five Weeks)

$650 (US Dollars) due on February 15th, 2024

First Tuition Payment

$ 2,585 (US Dollars) due on March 15th, 2024

Second Tuition Payment

$ 2,585 (US Dollars) due on April 15, 2024
