Fiona's Retirement Gift

Fiona has been a dedicated organizer at the Chinese Progressive Association for the past 19 years! She is retiring on July 14, 2023 (which also happens to be her birthday!).

Fiona first came to CPA's worker center to learn about workers' rights and take action for a loved one experiencing wage theft. She continued to grow as a passionate member leader and then joined the Worker Center staff. She has been part of the founding of the Asian Pacific American Labor Alliance (APALA) Massachusetts Chapter and organized Elara (formerly Medical Resources) homecare workers in partnership with SEIU 1199 to win workers their union!

Over the years she has worked tirelessly around the clock to support the workers that have come through the Worker Center's doors and other areas of CPA's organization and programs like electoral organizing. She has been a deeply dedicated organizer working for almost two decades to advance the mission of CPA.

We know that Fiona is looking forward to spending time with family, exploring new and old hobbies, and traveling. We are putting together a travel fund for Fiona so we can send her off into retirement, ready for her next adventure!
