Fire at The Kings Head Bonsall

Hi my name is Lynn and I'd like to help The Kings Head Bonsall recover from its fire on 1 June 2024, as soon as possible. We were in the pub when it started and Andy and Sam were doing their best to put a brave face on it, but it's their home as well as their business. Let's help them pay for whatever they need, clothes, accommodation, anything to help them through the next few weeks.

Update 2 June 24, fire in private quarters above the pub thought to be from a tumble dryer. This is their home and all their belongings are affected.

Update 2, June 2nd

Please support this historic grade 2 listed building's recovery. The Kings Head Bonsall (established 1677) was damaged by smoke and fire in the private quarters above, on the evening of 1 June 2024, thought to be caused by a dryer. All safely evacuated. Unknown damage. Andy and Sam don't have access to any belongings so please help support them in any way you can. This is not something they have asked for, I was in the pub at the time and want to help.

Edit 3, 2 June 2024, message from Sam and Andy "We are overwhelmed by the messages of support and help, we’ve been in today and the living quarters are gutted from fire & smoke damage , we salvaged some clothes which have been washed by our lovely neighbours. We are being very well looked after by Phil & Mandy for now. Which we can’t thank them enough. We will keep everyone updated on the progress on the pub, also if you use a tumble dryer please be very careful ours hadn’t been used for 2 hours and it was the cause of the fire."
