Fire Claims The Lives Of Eight Rescue Dogs

I’m starting this for my two closest friends who lost everything tonight in a house fire.

As the homes downstairs was in flames one of the dogs ran upstairs barking and alerting my friend Sara who was asleep. One of their heroic neighbors saw the flames and ran into the burning home to assist in helping.

Sara was able to escape the fire with moments to spare before the entire home was engulfed in flames.

Two of Sara and Laura’s kids (dogs) were able to make it out alive luckily.

Sara and Laura tried desperately to run back into the burning flames to rescue eight other rescue dogs who were in the home.

The Fire Department held them back as they tried to rescue their eight fur babies as the home was unsafe to enter.

Unfortunately they did not make it.

One of the brave firefighters was injured and brought to the hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.

My best friends lost everything tonight.

Their home, memories, but more than that the lives of their beautiful rescue dogs.
