Home Destroyed By Fire

Liz and her husband Brian (who is paraplegic), bought a home in Mesa, AZ to be closer to family. They had been going back and forth from Pahrump, NV over a period of 2 weeks. They wanted to be moved in and settled so they could get a little rest and enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner with family in a few weeks.

They arrived late Sunday night, got a few hours of sleep, and went into town Monday morning for supplies. When they were almost home, Brian commented to Liz that he saw smoke and that it looked close to them. As they got closer, they realized it was their house that was on fire.

They stood by and watched and prayed, hoping the fire would be put out quickly. That is until a fireman approached them, saying they ran out of water. Say what??? Their hearts dropped, and they were in total shock, as anyone could only imagine standing by watching your home burn to the ground.

Everything they owned was inside the house, except for 2 motorcycles, one of which belonged to Brian and was specifically customized for him to be able to ride. They were in the carport area and were damaged. We don't know yet if they are salvageable.

These two people are the sweetest and kindest people you could have as friends. They need help, ASAP! They need to have the property cleared and everything gone, down to the very dirt on the ground, as they are being charged lot rent. The property needs to be cleared by licensed professionals; otherwise, we would get as many friends and trucks and do it ourselves.

They also will be homeless in less than a week. Anything you can give will be a blessing! Please find it in your heart to give what you can. I thank you for giving!!! They thank you for giving!
