Fire destroys Hand me down zoo

For anyone who hasn’t heard the tragic news..

Hand Me Down Zoo’s front building that housed about 100 animals caught fire in the middle of the night causing us to loose half of the animals in that building. We are thankful for the fire department, animal control and the vets (Hoschton and Oakwood animal hospital) for acting fast so we didn’t loose the whole building and all the animals BUT we did loose lots of amazing animals and the building still does need A LOT of work so we can get our surviving friends back in there safe place/home. Insurance hasn’t been very fun to deal with so we’re going to need any help we can get. Thank you so much in advance for any donation you give. We appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts but most importantly the animals do most.

A little background/behind the scenes..

The Zoo takes in hurt non-releasable animals and takes care of them for the remainder of their lives. All donations given go straight to the animals as there are close to 300 animals on the property to take care of from Fencing, food for all kinds, enclosures, medical supplies, supplements, toys and so much more.
