Fire Devastation: Help Jay and Linda

Donation protected
Jay and Linda lost everything in the devastating Eaton Fire. In an instant, their beautiful and historic Altadena home—and everything inside it—was destroyed. This wasn’t just a house; it was their sanctuary, the place where they worked, created, and built family memories.

They evacuated with no time to gather anything. The fire moved so quickly, and we’re grateful they escaped with their lives. The fire is still active, and first responders remain on duty, working tirelessly to protect others.

Among the ashes are priceless artifacts and family heirlooms. Curated decor and furnishings. These weren’t just things—they were pieces of our childhood, family history, and legacy. Our mother's studio and father’s office—all the spaces where life and creativity once thrived—are now gone.

The loss is overwhelming and includes:
• Essential tools and materials: Computers, machines, and equipment critical to their livelihoods.
• Personal belongings: Clothing, household necessities, and the comforts of home.
• Priceless family artifacts: Irreplaceable heirlooms, including pieces of American history, that can never be replaced.

About Jay and Linda
Jay is a proud Vietnam veteran who served in the Air Force. Professionally, he’s a software field applications engineer (FAE) and the ultimate “Mr. Fix It,” always ready to help solve any problem. Linda, a former educator at Otis College of Art and Design, now creates custom apparel for clients all over the world. Together, they’ve built a life rooted in creativity, resilience, and a love for their community.

Above all, Jay and Linda are loving grandparents who cherish their family. Their warmth and care extend to everyone they meet, and they’ve always been the kind of people who give selflessly to others.

While they are resourceful and determined, losing everything in the fire has left them needing immediate support to recover.

How You Can Help
We are raising funds to help our parents Jay and Linda start over and meet their most urgent needs. Donations will go toward:

• Replacing tools and materials essential for their work.
• Providing basic necessities like clothing and household essentials.
• Supporting recovery efforts to help them regain stability.

Our Goal
Our goal is to help with immediate needs and provide a foundation for these next steps. Every contribution—no matter the size—makes a meaningful impact.

Thank You!
It’s devastating for our parents to face such a monumental loss. But we know that with the kindness and generosity of friends, family, and the community, they can begin to heal.

Thank you for supporting Jay and Linda. Whether you donate, share this page, or send your love, your support means the world to us.
