Fire Dogs HTX
Donation protected
On October 23, late in the evening a fire destroyed a home on the NW side of Houston - 77038. Volunteer firefighters pulled a 65 year old man from the burning structure. Joel Bromberg passed away on Thursday October 31. His wife was taking care of her elderly mother in another part of Houston at the time of the fire. They have lost everything in this fire. The wife is devastated and unable to care for the dogs on the property.
7-9 dogs are currently living on the property and getting fed by neighbors and friends.
All of the dogs are outdoor dogs and need complete vetting (vaccines, dewormer, spays and neuters, heartworm treatments)
Looking for donations to help these sweet souls.
Even if you can’t help the whole group, raising funds to get one or two dogs to safety, would be incredible. As of now, all of the dogs are available for adoption and new homes. Rescues are attracted by having funds available to help with the costs.
Vetting for each dog costs about $700 per dog. Food and treats have been collected through the Amazon WishList
