Fire Engine to Empalme

During my time at the Stockton Fire Department I had the privilege of meeting a group of wonderful people from Stockton’s Sister City, Empalme Mexico. The group included the Mayor, City Leaders and members of their fire department. While giving them of tour of the fire department I was asked what the city did with our fire engines when they were taken out of service. That conversation led to the City of Stockton donating several fire engines to the City of Empalme.

Myself and Captain Jonathon Smith(Ret.) worked to get three fire engines donated and shipped to Mexico. The fire engines donated have been placed in service and are currently in use.

Today we still have one engine here in Stockton that still needs to be driven to Mexico. Two representatives from Empalme will be arriving later this month to drive the fire engine to Mexico. Jonathon and I are seeking your help. We are looking to raise enough funds to assist with travel expenses to deliver these engines. We appreciate any help you can give. Thank you!
