Hi, this fundraiser is to help Casa Grande Engineer Peter Benzing with his legal fees. Most of you are aware of Pete's battle with cancer and the four year struggle to win his work related cancer claim. During that time, Pete found Dr. Jahnke who was willing to step up and fight for firefighters to legally prove that his cancer was acquired on the job. Part of his extensive legal fees is specifically assigned to Dr. Jahnke's report, transcripts, and filing fees. Local 3752 has agreed to donate $1,000 and the Casa Grande Fire Department Honor Guard has matched that amount. Leaving less than $1,900 for this specific bill of legal fees. When Pete fought for and won his cancer claim, his victory helped every future firefighter's cancer claim in the state. Although his cancer related medical expenses are covered, his is still left with the financial aftermath of the legal battle. Please help us to support him.
