Fire fund for Joan Williamson
Donation protected
On Monday, February 25th my mother Joan Williamson and sister Suzette were victims of a devastating house fire. Mom is 84 years old and widowed for less than a year and now has lost a home that she has lived in for 51 years, not only have they lost everything they had, they also lost a beloved cat that woke them and saved them from this horrible fire. My sister had to jump from a second story window which left her with a back fracture and in a brace .
Mom is still in the hospital on a ventilator with a long recovery ahead.
Dad died less than a year ago. Mom took care of him and after a long illness they made the hard decision to cancel their homeowners insurance, a decision sadly a lot of seniors have to make.
This year has been so tragic for our family and mostly for her, so any help that you feel you can give will be greatly appreciated. So many of our friends and family have asked “what can we do?” and we thought this would be the easiest way, by sharing this you will be helping them get back to a somewhat normal life. We thank all of you for your love, support and prayers as we make our way through this difficult time.
