Fire Loss Recovery for Craig
Donation protected
As a lot of you may or may not know, Craig has had a rough few months. It has been one storm after another for him. This has been a very difficult time in his life and he is trying to keep one foot in front of the other and stay as positive as he can.
Craig was starting to see the light at then end of the tunnel when was able to take back possession of his Park Model home on Sunday 14th. We went in and spent HOURS cleaning the mess that was left. By Monday the 15th, we were able to get it cleaned enough to start brining in what little belongings he had left. We got everything except his bed in the house that night. Craig was so happy smiling ear to ear happy to be sitting on his recliner watching cable television eating dinner with his son and grandkids. He was so happy that he no longer had to sleep in a 7’ x 10’ living space anymore.
At approximately 3:15am November 16th, the worst happened; I received a call from Craig, a call I will never forget. He called and said “Amanda, my house is burning to the ground”. Seth and I jumped out of bed and raced down to the island to find that his house had nearly burnt to the ground. The fire was a total loss. The little Craig had is now GONE. By the grace of God, Craig decided to sleep one more night in his horse trailer as his bed was not in the house yet.
Despite the deck of cards he has been dealt, Craig is an amazing person. He is one of the most loyal people I know. He is the person that will give you the shirt of his back no question. If you need anything Craig is always there expecting nothing in return. Craig is known in the team roping community and is also the owner/operator of the Outcast Barber Shop in Snohomish. He is known by many that can vouch his character. Those of you that know Craig also know how stubborn he is and WILL NOT accept help from anyone, so I am taking it upon myself to do so. Please don’t tell him about this or flood him with calls as he will tell us to take it down. Once we reach our goal, I will give all donations directly to Craig and will tell him where it came from. Anything you can give will be a blessing.
Thank you.
