The magnitude of Linda's loss requires patience, fortitude and tremendous faith on the road to recovery. She currently has temporary shelter and is grateful for daily community support.

San Diego artist/painter Linda Churchill suffered a heartbreaking loss Sunday morning May 21, 2023 as a devastating fire swept through her Inko-pah mountain home in Jacumba, California.

Artist studio, canvases, paints, tools and supplies, family memorabilia, library and treasured possessions were reduced to ash. Linda’s sweet companions, little dog Chevron and two of her beloved house cats died in the flames. She managed to escape with the clothes on her back, her computer and her car.

Linda can use our community help getting back on her feet after this

crushing tragedy. Giving in any way possible will help rebuild Linda’s hope

and determination for brighter days.

art and private commission works, from San Diego Airport to Qualcomm

Stadium, Hillcrest Ace Hardware building to Irvine Company Corporate

Offices. Her masterful, realist work has brought joy to many an unknowing

citizen who happened to see a “Churchill” mural.
