Fire Recovery Fund for Racheal and Garrison

Hi, my name is Jasmine, I'm a sister to Rach and auntie to Garrison. I'm starting this GoFundMe to help them get back on their feet after their rental home, car and all of their belongings were burnt by arson.

In the early hours of Wednesday April 5th, a fire was started in the garage and in the shed on the property where Rach and G we're living. This was the 3rd fire that was set in their town by an arsonist that night but it was the only one that had people living in the home.

They made it out with each other, their cat and the clothes on their backs. While words cannot convey the deep gratitude we have that everyone in the home made it out alive and unharmed, everything they owned is burned and gone. And so it's time to restart from scratch and move forward.

Anyone who knows Racheal will tell you about her heart and her loving and eternally generous soul. She is always lifting others up and bringing relief to those who could use a hand. In fact, in the morning after the fire she was offering to take my kids to give me a break! Rach is one of the strongest people I know. She has faced extremely hard situations and has dealt with them head on, even when it's felt impossible. Regardless of what is going on in her life, she has always been the sunshine, hope and relief for those around her. I am hoping we can help return the love that she continues to pour into the world.

I'm setting up this page for those who are looking to help from afar or in a monetary way. We will also be setting up other avenues to support as well like donations of furniture, household items, clothing etc. for those of you hoping to help in other ways. More details will be posted in the coming days. She really is starting from zero.

Rach will be needing to find a new place to live in Hope, BC and a new car so feel free to send any leads my way!
