"Miss "D", Miss Dianne" Needs Our Help from Altadena Fire
Donation protected
Greetings Friends, my name is Debin Smith, and I am opening this Go Fund Me for my dear friend, Dianne Lewis, an LAUSD retired Special Education teacher and Program Specialist. She and her family have lost everything in the Altadena, CA fire. They have nothing left except the clothes on their backs and a few other items. They will need, at a minimum, to begin to get replacement essentials such as clothing, shoes, jackets, etc... not to mention immediate temporary housing and transportation. This will certainly not replace insurance, but it will help start the path to recovery.
Dianne, otherwise known as Miss D, is a pillar in her community of Altadena through all of her volunteer efforts to support families, children, people in need. She has restored the community center, The AlkebuLan Cultural Center in Pasadena, and worked to bring many free programs to the Center for her community. She has brought in artists, musicians, dance, martial arts, for the youth of the area. She holds community events at the center, invites guest speakers on a wide variety of topics, as well as hosts meetings to foster communication and dialogue between community leaders, law enforcement, and residents in an effort to reduce tensions between various groups of residents. Dianne has worked tirelessly for her community and has never hesitated to give her time, energy, resources to help others.
Now, Miss D needs you! It is now your turn to show your love and appreciation for her by offering any contribution you can afford.
I know so many in Southern California will be needing this kind of help, and many asks are going to be coming your way, but any amount you can donate to Dianne and her family will not be too small. I know she and her family will be so grateful.
Step up, help out, pay it forward to Miss Dianne!
Gratitude and thanks in advance!
