Jim and Glorias Home at Allison Ranch
As you may know, Allison Ranch suffered a tragic blow on Sunday, July 30th from a firestorm that blew up the River of no-Return. In moments, almost all was lost in the blaze. Jim and Gloria Mozingo have been caretakers at Allison Ranch for somewhere around 20 years. They built many of the buildings that burned down. Their home at Allison Ranch along with all of their personal belongings was consumed by the raging fire. Like you, Mike Rourke and his wife, along with my wife Kitty and I have been consumed with how we can help our friends in this time of need. My name is Mark Burke. My wife and I have been filling in at Allison Ranch for the past 13 years to relieve Jim and Gloria for a week in July. We just left there on July 8th after a glorious week. Allison Ranch was the greenest that I ever remember. All funds will go to Jim and Gloria from Go Fund Me. I asked Gloria for permission and she reluctantly agreed. I have not been able to talk to Jim. He is out of reach in the backcountry. I'm sure Jim will be ticked because they are hard workers and usually want to do it on their own. But from time to time we need help from those who love us. We would like to invite you to join us on this "Go fund me" page to help raise some immediate funds for Jim and Gloria. with these funds, Jim and Gloria can replace some of the essentials that were destroyed in the fire. This is an act of love to get them back on their feet and to feel the support of their family and friends.
Jim and Gloria's legacy did not burn; their real-life work has been in the hearts of all the people's lives they have touched throughout the years at Allison Ranch. This work is eternal. It cannot be consumed by fire.
This is our collective opportunity to pay them back in a tangible way. Thanks for participating.
We love you, Jim and Gloria,
