Fire Relief Fund for Taylor Losey and Family
Donation protected
Our dear friend, Taylor Losey, RN at Harborview, and single mother, was a victim of arson on April 15th, in Shoreline, WA. As Taylor was about to clock out of work on Saturday, she received a phone call from her roommate that her home of 9 years, was burning down. The fire started in the back of the house and completely burned the first floor of their rental home. Unfortunately, the home and all its contents are a total loss. No one was injured and both roommates, Taylor and her 2 kids are all safe. All that was recovered from her belongings was a box of family photos. The family is unhoused and without personal possessions of any kind. Cage, Taylor's oldest son, is set to start college in the fall and they will be needing to find housing quickly as both kids are still in school. Cage, at Shorecrest High School and Story, at Einstein Middle School.
Unfortunately, there is no active renter's insurance to cover this tragedy. Right now, Taylor needs to focus on finding housing, getting to work and replacing personal necessities for her family, including, clothes, scrubs, toiletries etc.
