Fire Took Dr. McIntyre's Treasured Home
Donation protected
We are Aurora Sanchez and Rebecca Merle, Dr. William D. McIntyre's sisters-in-law. We are deeply saddened by the loss of our brother's and sister's home during the Eaton fire in Altadena, CA. This home has been a place where our families have shared beautiful and memorable times. The children are now adults, and it deeply saddens us that so many of those cherished memories are now overshadowed by the devastation that has affected so many in the community and throughout Los Angeles.
This loss is not only the dwelling where they lived but where so many irreplaceable things have been lost. So many of Dr. McIntyre's family heirlooms; his father's and mother's belongings that a value cannot be placed on.
Dr. McIntyre has practiced Internal Medicine, Oncology, and Hematology in Pasadena for decades. He has served over 500 patients and saved countless lives. His wife, Elva Durazo-McIntyre, has served by his side for over 40 years, supporting him, the practice, and their beloved patients.
Dr. McIntyre recently sold his practice and is now semi-retired. During this transition, Dr. McIntyre relocated thousands of dollars worth of medical equipment to his home, which is now lost with all of the many other irreplaceable family pictures, heirlooms, and so much more.
We are fundraising to help Dr. McIntyre and his family rebuild their lives and recover from this devastating loss.
