Devastating Fire: Teresa & Lee recovery fund
Donation protected
On Wednesday, April 24th, 2019, Teresa and Lee left their home to visit family and within 30 minutes they received devastating news from their neighbors their home, their business, was engulfed in flames. They lost everything. This includes their beloved service dogs and their young litter of pups who were destined to be service animals through the organization Olde World Bullies who provide training for those wheelchair bound and health challenged to improve their lives. Just 7 weeks old...
Their dogs, their woodworking tools, their greenhouse, their vehicles were their entire livelihood and they lost them all. Unfortunately, their home was also not insured and the cars only carried liability coverage. They're also about to get a bill from 3 fire departments, as they were uninsured.
This was just 1 month after finishing a remodel of the upstairs in order to raise the value of the property and have insurance coverage.
This was just 1 year after Teresa's dog (Zuul, RIP) saved her life monitoring her heart and alerted the doctors she was about to have a heart attack - she just recovered from open heart surgery and Lee has been her rock and her support with his woodworking business despite years of suffering back injuries.
These are two good, honest, hardworking individuals who have been scraping by living in rural Minnesota. Their dogs were their lifeblood and survival, not just financially. They're broken hearted and while committed to rebuild and rise from these ashes, they're truly in desperate need of financial support.
Any amount you can give - whether it be $5 or $500, is absolutely appreciated. Please help us and their community get them through this difficult time in any way you can. They are determined to forge ahead and greatly appreciate your prayers. They are determined to continue providing such a valuable service to the community and those in need. <3
