Fire Took Everything: Help the Champion Family

As many of you may know, the Palisades fires have caused catastrophic damage, and Gregg and Jennifer Champion and their family have been directly impacted. Gregg and I have been friends for over 40 years. We went to high school together in San Diego and all of our classmates continue to be very close.

We are reaching out to please ask for your support for Gregg & Jennifer Champion.

With just a moment’s notice on Tuesday afternoon, a raging wildfire racing towards the Champion Family home and neighborhood, Jennifer and her husband, Gregg desperately packed their three girls, Elysse (14), Annabelle (12), Charlise (2), and two dogs into their cars with just the clothes on their backs in a frenzy to make it out of harm’s way to safety.

Gregg's business Start Up Recovery sustained significant damage and will take a long time to return to normalcy, since the town of Pacific Palisades which they love is all gone. More importantly, their neighborhood and the family home were consumed by the flames within minutes, and they lost everything they owned -- including presents from this past Christmas.

Gregg and Jennifer are deeply connected within the Palisades community, and The Champions are a kind and loving family who have always been there for others in their time of need. Now, it is our turn to support them during this unimaginable hardship.
