Fire took our home but not our ALOHA ❤️

Hi, my name is Leeanna and I am starting this gofundme for this beautiful mama of 5, Benae. Their home and most of their belongings were completely lost due to the devastating fires in Lahaina on Maui.

They lived just a couple blocks from the

beautiful historic Front Street.

Although Benae has her own

children, she has also welcomed many children from the community with open arms. Whether they didn’t have a place to stay, or a meal to eat, or a ride anywhere, or pretty much anything - they always knew Auntie Benae was there for them. She also ran a successful business in her backyard, teaching children to swim called Little Honu Swim School.

Her energy is infectious and you can count on Aunty Benae to bring good vibes daily on her social media or just in passing on a bike ride, hike, or walking through a grocery store….she will be the one doing handstands :)

We are trying to help raise funds so they can begin to rebuild not only their home, but also the community.
