Fire TRAGEDY: Help the Bostek Family

Hi, my name is Carrie, my friends call me Forrest.

The Bostek family, me and my children. have had a miserable year, at the beginning of 2022 my father struck ill in Illinois and died. And I was suffering with a chronic disease, and covid.

With my health deteriorating and my credit cards filling up our life took another devastating turn on September 24th. When my daughter let out a blood curdling scream, "OH MY GOD FIRE! FIRE!" Ouside her window she saw a fire in the garage.

It quickly engulfed our garage and started licking the sides of our home. Doing severe damage to the home and vehicles.

The police, fire department and ambulance showed up and took care of us.

My job as a mom is to be strong, take care of my children, and support them in their lives. I feel like I am struggling to do this on my own, not having a family to help me I am turning to my community and friends.
